Loom Knitter's Circle - http://www.loomknitterscircle.com/ Isela and Denise have known each other for few years now, they first met online through one of the online loom knitting communities, then in 2006, they had a chance to meet at Rhinebeck Fiber Festival, two knitters with one goal in mind—yarn acquisition! They had a great time searching for yarn and other fibery related goodies and then at the end of the day, they and their families sat down to share a meal. That day, a bond of sorts was formed, a friendship grounded in our love for loom knitting and knitting in general. Denise lives in Ohio and Isela resides in Utah but with the help of instant messaging, they keep in touch and try to put a few projects together, their latest--this magazine for loom knitters around the world.

Marnie MacLean - http://www.mlminspirations.com Almost all of my patterns are free and that is by choice. Not only does it free me up from feeling obligated to agonize over every detail of every pattern, but it also makes patterns more accessible to more people. I think offering unusual patterns for free is a great way to grow the knitting community. That being said, I've begun to offer a few select "for sale" patterns to offset some of the cost of maintaining this site.

The Thrifty Knitter - http://thriftyknitter.com/ The Thrifty Knitter is Nikol’s romp into the land O’ knitting as she tries to keep her projects on the affordable side. There’s even a few posts that, like Pack Rat, show how much (or rather, how little) she paid to make a project as is the case with the Inca Tank Top below which cost $12-$14 (the picture above is of the mascot/logo she knitted). And almost every project she blogs about comes fully equipped with a free pattern. I know, I can feel the excitement radiating off you knitters.
